Customer-Facing Policy
At DreamzWear, every order is checked and packed with care before dispatch. Since apparel purchases depend on size, fit, color, occasion, and personal preference, we follow a limited return and exchange policy.
Please read this policy before placing an order.
Returns
We do not accept returns for change of mind, personal preference, size preference, color preference, styling preference, or if the customer no longer needs the item after delivery.
Returns or replacements are considered only in the following cases:
- The item is damaged when received
- The wrong item was delivered
- The item has a clear manufacturing defect
- The item is materially different from what was ordered
Damage, defect, wrong-item, or materially-different-item requests must be raised within 72 hours of delivery.
Eligible exchange requests may be raised within 7 days of delivery, subject to approval and stock availability.
How To Raise A Request
To request support for a damaged, defective, wrong, or materially different item, contact DreamzWear within 72 hours of delivery with:
- Order number
- Customer name and phone number
- Clear photos of the item
- Photo of the packaging and shipping label
- Unboxing video, if available
- Short description of the issue
Requests shared after the applicable policy window may not be eligible for return, replacement, or exchange.
Please contact DreamzWear and wait for confirmation before sending any item back. Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.
Item Condition
Any item sent back to DreamzWear must be:
- Unused
- Unworn
- Unwashed
- Unaltered
- Free from stains, perfume, damage, or signs of use
- Returned with original tags, labels, packaging, and accessories where applicable
Items that do not meet these conditions may be rejected after inspection.
Exchanges
DreamzWear may allow a one-time exchange for eligible apparel items, subject to approval and stock availability.
Exchange requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
Exchanges are considered only when:
- The item is unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
- Original tags and packaging are intact
- The requested replacement item or size is available
- The item is not customized, altered, clearance, or final-sale
Submitting an exchange request does not guarantee approval. DreamzWear will review the request and confirm eligibility before the item is sent back.
Non-Returnable And Non-Exchangeable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange unless they were delivered damaged, defective, wrong, or materially different:
- Customized or altered items
- Stitched or made-to-measure items
- Sarees with fall, pico, edging, or other finishing work completed
- Used, worn, washed, stained, perfumed, or damaged-after-delivery items
- Items without original tags or packaging
- Clearance, final-sale, or special-discount items
- Combo/set items returned partially
Color And Display Differences
Product colors may appear slightly different due to photography, lighting, screen brightness, or display settings. Minor color variation is not treated as a defect.
Return Shipping
If DreamzWear confirms that the wrong, damaged, defective, or materially different item was delivered, we will guide the customer on the replacement or resolution process.
Any approved return or exchange item should be shipped or handed over within 7 days of approval, unless DreamzWear confirms a different timeline.
For approved exchanges based on customer request, return shipping or exchange shipping may be the customer’s responsibility unless DreamzWear confirms otherwise.
Refunds
DreamzWear will first try to resolve approved cases through replacement or exchange where possible.
If a replacement is not available, DreamzWear may offer store credit, alternate product selection, or refund depending on the case.
Refunds, where approved, will be processed only after the returned item is received and inspected.
Shipping charges, COD charges, packaging charges, and other service charges may be non-refundable unless the issue was caused by DreamzWear.
Inspection And Approval
All return, replacement, and exchange requests are subject to review and inspection. DreamzWear reserves the right to reject requests where:
- The item has been used, worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery
- Required proof is not provided
- The request is raised after the policy window
- The issue is due to personal preference, fit preference, or minor color variation
- The returned item does not match the item delivered
